We Watched A Thing (Formerly Bears on Film) is a weekly podcast in which best friends Billy and Topher, a visual effects artist and a cameraman, catch up to discuss a movie they watched that week.

With a wealth of film knowledge, a love of cinema, and a humorous style, find out what we've watched this week, and what we thought about it.

Welcome to Episode 54 of We Watched A Thing.

This week we're cracking out the instruments, losing ourselves to alcohol and record labels, and pissing our pants, all while discussing the 5th remake of classic 'A Star is Born', directed by Bradley Cooper.

Sidenote - When we recorded, we also forgot to plug that this week we're guesting on the incredible podcast The Countdown Movie and TV Reviews, going up against Paul and Wayne with our list of Top 10 Film Crimes. Be sure to check out their show at http://www.comicconpod.com/countdown/

A Star Is Born is a 2018 American musical romantic drama film produced and directed by Bradley Cooper (in his directorial debut) and written by Cooper, Eric Roth and Will Fetters. A remake of the 1937 film of the same name, it stars Cooper, Lady Gaga, Andrew Dice Clay, Dave Chappelle, and Sam Elliott, and follows a hard-drinking musician (Cooper) who discovers and falls in love with a young singer (Gaga). It marks the fourth remake of the original 1937 film (which was loosely based on the 1932 film What Price Hollywood?), after the 1954 musical, the 1976 rock musical, and the 2013 Bollywood romance film.
