We Watched A Thing (Formerly Bears on Film) is a weekly podcast in which best friends Billy and Topher, a visual effects artist and a cameraman, catch up to discuss a movie they watched that week.

With a wealth of film knowledge, a love of cinema, and a humorous style, find out what we've watched this week, and what we thought about it.

Join me this week as I call NASA’s megastructure expert, warn them of an upcoming disaster, and make all-round zero sense, all while discussing the latest Roland Emmerich flick ‘Moonfall’, with the help of returning guest Beth!

Moonfall is a 2022 science fiction disaster film co-written, directed, and produced by Roland Emmerich. The film stars Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, John Bradley, Michael Peña, Charlie Plummer, Kelly Yu, and Donald Sutherland. Shot in Montreal on a $138–146 million production budget, Moonfall is one of the most expensive independently produced films of all time. The film was released in the United States on February 4, 2022, by Lionsgate. It received generally negative reviews from critics.

We Watched A Thing is supported by Dendy Cinemas Canberra. The best Australian cinema chain showing everything from blockbusters to arthouse and indie films. Find them at https://www.dendy.com.au/
