We Watched A Thing (Formerly Bears on Film) is a weekly podcast in which best friends Billy and Topher, a visual effects artist and a cameraman, catch up to discuss a movie they watched that week.

With a wealth of film knowledge, a love of cinema, and a humorous style, find out what we've watched this week, and what we thought about it.

Join us as we head to a millionaire’s party, drop LSD and make a run for it, and crumble under the unbearable weight of our own acting abilities, all while chatting about the insane new Nic Cage comedy ‘The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent’.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is a 2022 American action comedy film directed by Tom Gormican from a screenplay co-written with Kevin Etten. The film stars Nicolas Cage as a fictionalised version of himself, along with a supporting cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Sharon Horgan, Ike Barinholtz, Alessandra Mastronardi, Jacob Scipio, Neil Patrick Harris, and Tiffany Haddish. The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 12, 2022, and was released in the United States on April 22, 2022, by Lionsgate. It received positive reviews from critics, with praise for the performances and chemistry of Cage and Pascal.

We Watched A Thing is supported by Dendy Cinemas Canberra. The best Australian cinema chain showing everything from blockbusters to arthouse and indie films. Find them at https://www.dendy.com.au/
